DNI Gabbard Revokes Clearances for 37 Officials Linked to Russiagate Hoax
"Being entrusted with a security clearance is a privilege, not a right. Those in the Intelligence Community who betray their oath to the Constitution and put their own interests ahead of the interests of the American people have broken the sacred trust they promised to uphold."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revoked security clearances for 37 current and former officials implicated in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian election interference, which fueled the discredited Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
Per a Monday ODNI memo, the revocations target those who "abused public trust by politicizing and manipulating" intelligence, failing to safeguard classified info, or violating tradecraft standards. "The President has directed that, effective immediately, the security clearances of the following 37 individuals are revoked," the memo states. Access to classified systems ends forthwith, with contracts or employment terminated and credentials surrendered.
Among them is Vinh Nguyen, a key aide to former DNI James Clapper in producing the ICA claiming Russia's preference for then-candidate Trump over Hillary Clinton—a report later debunked by multiple probes, including Durham's, as lacking evidence and politically motivated.
Gabbard emphasized: "Being entrusted with a security clearance is a privilege, not a right. Those in the Intelligence Community who betray their oath to the Constitution and put their own interests ahead of the interests of the American people have broken the sacred trust they promised to uphold." She added the IC must uphold constitutional values and focus on American safety.
This action follows President Trump's directive and builds on prior revocations. In March, Gabbard stripped clearances from Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, and others like Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, and Lisa Monaco for similar abuses. She also targeted the 51 ex-intel officials who signed the 2020 letter dismissing Hunter Biden's laptop as Russian disinformation—later confirmed authentic.
Additional moves included barring Biden from the President's Daily Brief and revoking clearances for figures like Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, and Mark Zaid, tied to legal actions against Trump.
These steps address deep state overreach, restoring accountability after years of politicized intelligence operations. Gabbard's ODNI has also ended DEI policies and terminated contracts linked to anti-Trump probes, saving taxpayer funds while refocusing on core missions.
