DHS Announces Zero Illegal Entries for Three Straight Months Under President Trump
This success contrasts sharply with the Biden administration's final year. In May-July 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded hundreds of thousands of encounters at the southwest border, part of a fiscal year total exceeding 2.1 million.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed during a cabinet meeting that the U.S. has achieved three consecutive months with zero illegal immigrant entries, a milestone attributed to President Trump's border security policies. Additionally, 1.6 million illegal immigrants have self-deported since the administration took office.
Noem praised President Trump, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and border czar Tom Homan for their efforts in securing the border and enforcing immigration laws. "Today, the average family and individual that lives in this country is safer than they've been in years because of what you've done," she stated. President Trump responded, "To think three months in a row, zero. Incredible. That's some job."
This success contrasts sharply with the Biden administration's final year. In May-July 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded hundreds of thousands of encounters at the southwest border, part of a fiscal year total exceeding 2.1 million. July 2024 alone saw a monthly low but still significant encounters, down 32% from June.
Employment trends also highlight the shift. Under Biden, 88% of new jobs went to foreign-born workers, limiting opportunities for Americans. In contrast, President Trump's policies have delivered 2.5 million jobs to Americans that were unavailable previously, fostering economic growth and prioritizing citizens. Recent data shows U.S.-born employment gains outpacing immigrant losses in 2025.
Noem detailed fiscal benefits, estimating savings of $15 billion from reduced social program costs previously averaging $8,000-$9,000 per illegal immigrant. DHS has terminated over 450 inefficient contracts and renegotiated vendor deals, saving an additional $13 billion. The administration has arrested over 300,000 illegal aliens in 2025, emphasizing enforcement.

These achievements fulfill President Trump's pledge to prioritize American safety and prosperity through strict immigration control.
